Last sunday i arrived home for the picture that my polish flatmate, Dorota is using almost the whole territory of our colourful kitchen... no worries, of course, she was already prepairing a polish dish for our first vegan potluck! Soon, around 4pm, more people came to occupy the place and to prepaire delicious vegan food!
After 6pm we had a picnic in my room. 12 people as i remember, we just exactly fit into the place.
Would be nice to find a bigger place for the future, cause already now many people couldn't come, so what will be next time.. I am so optimistic with this huge vegan meetings in my mind ;)
So here comes the menu:
Phad Thai by Ben (USA) Rice pasta, tofucubes, roasted nuts, broccoli, mushrooms are swimming with heavenly taste of coconut milk and egzotic spices..
Curry, lime & lentil soup ~ so nice, intensive, fresh taste! not too hot and the tomato based soup sauce exactly in harmony with the lentils.
Golabki ~ polish dish, cabbabe leaves with rizotto like filling from buckweat or rice and mushroom. Baked in oven, goes well with simply good tomato sauce. Made by Dorota.
Steemed jerusalem artichoke seasoned with pepper
Latke (potato pankake) with soya joghurt by Tracey. All were gone soon..
Butternut squash creme with ginger. Made by Edit and Karl. I heart they store a lot from this at home ;)
Jerusalem artichoke RAW version ~ salad with beetroot, apple and raisins.
RAW Peanut salad made by Greg (France). So delicious! With carrot, cabbage, pumpkin..
