Sprouting Legumes - Lentils and Mung Beans - Super Easy Method

For those of you interested in sprouting legumes, nuts, seeds please watch this video. This is a pretty simple method to sprouting and could be applied to larger scale sprouting (if youd like to sprout for a couple days). Keep in mind that when you sprout all the enzymes have been released so whatever you are sprouting will have a shelf-life of about 2-3 days (maybe less). Here is a step by step:

1. Soak nuts, grains, seeds in CLEAN water for 9-12hrs. I recommend clean spring water with the lease amount of dissolved solids as possible...the reason why is because whatever is in the water will be absorbed by the sprouted nut, grain, seed and it is important that it is clean. Also, make sure to swap the water every 4-5 hours if possible.
2. Drain the water.

3. Let sit on a paper towel or towel on your window sill or outside where birds cannot get to it haha. Ive had this happen to me once. Crows attacked my cashews and it was like a murder scene afterwards so make sure they are covered. :) You want to let them sit in the sun for another 5-8 hours.

4. Eat and enjoy! You have now made sprouted nuts, grains, seeds with mostly all nutrients/enzymes still in tact!

TAH DAH!!! Hope this helps you all!
